Welcome

I'd love to introduce you to Shadow's Lair, a place with small items of whimsy to brighten your day.

Inside the lair, I create pieces inspired by fairies and their world. In the real world, I work with my Non-binary husband performing magic shows and at medieval events. Our goal is to bring happiness to the world 1 show at a time.

While I "follow a pattern" to make some of the items, each fairy, gnome, house, etc is a one-of-a-kind.

Most of what I make is found here in the shop, some items aren't able to go through the post, but they can be bought at different markets that I do.

This blog will be a way for me to share information about all of my creations, where these markets are (and when), and to share stories that come to my head as I make each creature or structure. Eventually, I will also share some technique videos.

A good example of the stories that I make up is these 2 houses (available at markets only)

The pink house actually belongs to a good witch. She noticed that when a villager put a "Beware Witch" sign at the front of the wicked witch's house, people stayed away. While the good witch likes to help people, there had been a lot of them coming to see her lately, so she made her own "Beware Witch" sign and popped it out so she could have some quiet time to read her books.

After the school holidays, there'll be lots of new products added to the store.
